Anfahrt zum Haus funktionierte Problemlos. Nachdem wir die Schlüssel im Hotel abgeholt haben, begleiteten uns die Besitzer zum Haus. Das Haus liegt abgelegen von der Stadt auf einem Berg. Im Winter sind Schneeketten sehr zu empfehlen. Optisch ist das Haus wirklich ein Hingucker, die Aussicht sehr schön. Innenausstattung modern rustikal und mit allem ausgestattet. Elektrisches Tor und Garage für 2 Autos sowie schönen großen Garten mit Kamin. In 20 Min. ist man in der nächsten Stadt und in weiteren 10 Min. in der Schweiz. Wir (6 Personen) waren über Silvester 1 Woche dort gewesen und es war sehr schön. Leider liegt das Haus so hoch, dass von den Silvesterraketen nicht viel zu erkennen war. Wer darauf Wert legt kann sich im kleinen Ort mit einem professionellen Feuerwerk vergnügen.
Heerlijk rustig door geisoleerde ligging en ruim vergezicht; gerieflijk, proper, ruim en modern uitgerust huis. Weinig toeristische buurt, voor ons is dit meer voor- dan nadeel. Het huis is slechts via een intimiderende klim bereikbaar, voor bussen, vrachtwagens, caravans, mobilhomes volstrekt onmogelijk. Internet en wat krachtigere lampjes zouden prettig zijn.

The apartment was very clean and quiet - sleep goes well here. There is a small general store and bus stop immediately attached, and free dedicated parking directly in front. All bedrooms had 100% excellent views (assuming the weather cooperates), as did the deck off the family room (with retractable awning). All bedding and furniture was comfortable and attractive. The bus comes once an hour (bus #21), and took a couple of days for us to get right. The walk from town is about a mile, and uphilll, so bring your hiking legs if you want to hoof it!
Wir waren zwei Familien (je 2 Erwachsene und je 1 Kleinkind) und hatten ausreichend Platz in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet mit einer topmodernen Küche. Die Betten in den Zimmern sind sehr bequem, es hat ausreichend Stauraum in den Zimmern und Wandschränken. Die Terrasse bietet eine herrliche Aussicht! Besonders erwähnen möchten wir den Dorfladen, der sich im gleichen Haus befindet. Das war für uns optimal - alles was wir täglich brauchten, konnten wir dort einkaufen (sogar Sonntags). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The location, apartment and facilities are excellent. Only problem was communication. If you don't speak or understand French, you must have a translating equipment. (ie: iphone with translater app) The 'interhome' office in Ste Croix supports us in every aspects. One young man there in the office speaks English fluently. I must remember his name, but I forgotten. If he is there, then your holiday would be unforgettable.
dans l'ensemble très satisfaite, juste 60euros pour le ménage d'un studio c' est peut etre exagéré..d'autant plus qu'il y avait beaucoup de toiles d'araignées et de la poussière sur les chaises! la description du logement sur l'annonce ne correspondait pas à la réalité! ( pas de lit double! , nous avons du installer les matelas par terre )

i was initially wary of booking the Chalet Monch as there were very little reviews about property and looking at the map it was obvious that a rail line was running behind it and it was a bus trip into Grindelwald centre. We got a taxi at station and collected keys from Interhome office (really lovely staff) and then onto chalet. On entering apartment it was obviously looked after really well, very nicely kitted out withe extra blankets, lots of kitchen ware and all rooms spacious with the balcony surrounding on two sides looking out onto the mountains. The underfloor heating and wood stove were very welcome and the double glazing on windows made it relatively soundproof to outside noise, including the train line and the road. Excellent access to Grindelwald Grund Mannlichen gondalas for the skiiers. And the non-skiers were able to take the regular ski bus into Grindelwald from same place or just 5mins up the road from apartment. The Grindelwald Grund railway station was close by which was great for getting up to Jungfraujoch (the top of Europe). Would recommend this property without hesitation. It was the fourth time that some of the party had been to Grindelwald and according to them this was by far the best accommodation they had there. Once we knew the bus timetable including the nacht bus access to restaurants and shops were not an issue. The hostel close by (Mountain Hostel) advertised takeaway pizza, which we did not use, but would be an option to those who want a night in without cooking. Overall a lovely holiday based on really comfortable accommodation.

We travelled from England to Zermatt via Geneva, where we stayed overnight near the airport. As expected, the train around Lake Geneva and to Visp worked .. err .. like clockwork. We arived at lunchtime to blazing sunshine in Zermatt. The Interhome office is a very short walk from the station and certainly not worth taking the CHF20 taxi. The staff were unfailingly helpful, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. It was necessary to take a cab from the station with all our baggage, although it's really only 10 minutes from the centre. The apartment was excellent: well equipped with good views of the Matterhorn. There are two large double bedrooms and a smaller bedroom which served our married daughter very comfortably. It's obvious that St Pauli is used by the owner: lots of personal touches all over the place. For skiing the bus service was first rate, we only ever waited 5 minutes for a bus once. The town is unlike French high level resorts: a lot of wealthy middle-aged Swiss and Germans, some Brits and Americans, but hardly any Italian or French on view. Similarly the ski areas were empty compared with France. Almost no ski schools, and hardly any Boarders. In fact it was predominently small middle aged groups taking it pretty slowly. The ski area brakes into three areas: all quite different and really intermediate by French standards. With the exception of the off piste area it was all pretty easy skiing with most runs being at least a grade easier than in France. However we ski quickly and still had enough to last the week, even without Italy which was the only disappointment since the Cable car ws badly wind-affected and was frequently shut or in danger of being shut, which made it risky to go into Italy without being sure we could get back, The Sunnega mountain funi and Matterhorn train made the resort unique and since we had a lot of snow during the week it was preferable to sitting on chairlifts! We ate very well: the food in the restaurants was really good - uniformly better quality than French mountain resorts and always served with a smile. Chez Heini (lamb!) and Wallisterstube (beef fondu and schnitzle) both deserve a mention. So 10/10 for the accomodation; 12/10 for the views; 10/10 for the snow; 7/10 for the ski area; 10/10 for the people of Zermatt. Thank you.

Un chalet parfaitement adapté pour notre groupe de 10 adultes en week-end ski. Un charme authentique, au calme, avec une vue imprenable sur les Alpes. Le téléphérique des Houches à moins de 5 minutes en voiture.

Die Wohnung hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen: gross, hell und sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Gerade mit einem Keinkind war die vorhandene Mikrowelle und Spülmaschine wichtig und hilfreich. Insgesamt haben wir in der Wohnung eine tolle Ferienwoche verbracht!

Bijzonder professioneel en erg vriendelijk personeel in het buro in St.. Moritz (het ene kantooir is het andere niet hebben we nu ontdekt). Complimenten aan Frau Roth en haar team. Ons appartement was in 1 woord geweldig en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het enige minpunt zijn misschien de wat kleine bedden (160x200) Kortom we hebben ditmaal genoten van onze skivakantie !

Die grosszügigen Platzverhältnisse im Essbereich drinnen wie auf der Terasse haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas veraltet (Schimmel im Nassbereich Parterre), aber dennoch im Grossen und Ganzen akzeptabel. Den Grill haben wir uns anders vorgestellt, aber wir haben uns im offenen Cheminéefeuer gut behelfen können, die Steaks waren wunderbar.
Grand chalet typique, bien équipé, à quelques minutes en voiture des remontées mécaniques, des bains et des commerces. Deux étages à vivres bien séparés, idéal pour deux familles. Bref: je le recommande!
Location: Off the main through road on the outskirts of Grindelwald, quiet with beautiful view . Very short walking distance to the Maennlichen Gondola, great for skiing. A bit of an uphill walk into the village center as an only negative of an otherwise perfect one week stay. Chalet: Very spacious and modern, nicely furnished with all the amenities needed (free wifi as an extra plus). Personally, prefer the beds a bit harder, but I know many people love them soft... We are renting for many years for skiing vacation throughout the alps, but Chalet Eiger topped it all, especially when compared with the price (we admittedly benefited from an off peak last minute offer, but all the same, we would take the apartment again any time). Interhome service was very friendly and extremely competent.

Superbe maison, vue magnifique, très bien équipée. Ambiance très chaleureuse, très grands espaces de vie. Bois disponible pour le feu. Bcp de bd et de jeux sur place. La navette s arrête devant la maison.
It is A good house, it has A beautiful view over the mountainbike. It is a bit differcult to get to ,if there is A lot og snow. The Sun is there during the Day, but not in the afternoon. The rooms are fine and also the many bathrooms. Nice Big livingroom.
Mucha paz y tranquilidad, las niñas disfrutaron mucho de la piscina (muy limpia), la Wi-Fi un detallazo para mi y mi hija mayor. El pueblo muy tranquilo y agradable. Excelentes vacaciones.

la résidence roches -grises est rès tranquille. Le chalet se trouve bien près du train à la Bretaye. L'appartement est bien spacieux - agreable en rentrant du ski. D'avoir deux salles de bain était indispensable.
Eine wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung. Einziges, kleines Problem während unseres Aufenthaltes war, dass der "Rauch" aus dem Kamin/Cheminée nicht einwandfrei durch den Schornstein nach oben zu ziehen schien.
Schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Wohnung. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Romantische Umgebung in altem Dorf. Nette einheimische Nachbarn. Brunnen vor dem Haus mit hervorragendem Quellwasser. Gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern ins umliegende Gebirge. Zentral gelegen für Erkundung des Aosta-Tals vom Mont-Blanc bis zum Val d'Ayas. Etwas mühsame Anfahrt mit einigen Serpentinen, teilweise auf engen Straßen. Fahrtzeit von Aosta bis Remondet (Ville sur Sarre) 30-35 Min. Hotel mit gutem Restaurant in der Nähe. Phantastischer Ausblick von der Hotelterrasse ins Aostatal und auf die Berge.
Appartement was basic, voldoende comfortabel voor de prijs. Evenwel een paar minpunten: - ligging:op 10 km van winkels, café, restaurant via niet zo makkelijke toegangsweg. - niet op de foto te zien, maar de woning is gelegen in een klein gehuchtje waar het overgrote deel van de andere, vlak aanpalende huizen ruines zijn. - te weinig licht in de woonkamer, waardoor lezen 's avonds bemoeilijkt is - weinig druk op de waterleiding, bij het nemen van een doche niet erg comfortabel (klein straaltje). Eigenaar had ons van dit euvel wel verwittigd, en het zou hetzelfde zijn in heel het gehucht. - slaapkamers: te dunne overgordijnen, het licht van de straatverlichting schijnt 's nachts de kamers binnen - beddengoed niet echt fris
Le chalet est bien situé à quelques pas des Bains Thermaux et proche du centre du village. Les pièces sont agréables et le jardin très accueillant. D'autres chalets sont proches, mais il n'y a pas de vis-à-vis. En hiver, le chemin d'accès n'est pas praticable en voiture car trop en pente (mais une solution est certainement proposée...?). Le chalet était propre et l'accueil à la station (Interhome) très chaleureux (verre de fendant à l'arrivée et pommes au départ). D'ailleurs, la plupart des personnes rencontrées à Ovronnaz étaient sympathiques. On sent la cherté du CHF. Les possibilités de promenades sont nombreuses et variées. Nous y reviendrons très certainement.
La date du séjour, soit du 07.07.12 au 14.07.12 était vraiment le top. Le chalet était vide et le calme au rendez-vous. Super agréable. Nous avons vraiment appréciés, les enfants avaient une vrai place pour jouer à l'arrière du chalet, car aucune route ou parking n'y était placée.
Together with two friends, I and my wife spend christmasweek in this chalet (22/12-29/12) in 2012. It was a wonderful experience. Ovronnaz this time a year is amazing, with loads of snow and not yet crowded. We had beautiful weather, and there was snow enough to have great outdoor experiences (tobogganing, langlaufing, winter walking and skiing). The shops in Ovronnaz (about 8 minutes walk) are a bit expensive, but that is Switzerland for you. Concerning the house: it was a perfect paradise and refuge. The beds were cosy and soft, the bath was big and there was enough warm water to fill it four times in one day, the fireplace was picture perfect, they have a huge TV with cable and a balcony where we spend one morning (20⁰C) eating pancakes. The house is spacious and just perfect for four people (whether two couples or a family). Moreover, the open kitchen makes it fun to cook and talk. There is parking space at both sides of the house, so you don’t even have to look for a spot. The only minor complaint was that we had a family with kids living above us and the house was kind of noisy, so every time the kids ran down the stairs we could hear them. The people of Interhome are very friendly and helped us along without any hesitation It was the perfect Wham! Holiday :-D
Ce que n ous avons appréciés c'est la situation géographique. Par contre la cuisine est insuffisemment équipée (tasses-cuillères-casseroles etc etc ) et l'état général de la cuisine n'était pas propre. Assiettes , tasses mal lavées, couteaux fourchettes avec encore du fromage. Tiroirs pleins de miettes. Plaques du four sales etc etc
Appartement chaleureux, belle vue, bonne literie, accès aux pistes facile ; plus difficile pour le retour. Les trois chambres sont de taille différente, la répartition est un peu difficile car déséquilibrée.
L'appartement est en tout point génial, très beau et bien équipé. Les chambres sont confortables. L'isolation entre les pièces est assez bonne. Bien situé au centre d'Ovronnaz, proche des pistes et des bains.
Nous avons passés plusieurs de nos vacances dans ce châlet qui est toujours aussi agréable ! L'endroit est magnifique et le confort très apprécié. Le prix pendants les vacances scolaires reste malgré tout très élevé par rapport à certaines périodes !

Wir haben diese Wohnung bereits zum zweiten Mal in Folge gebucht. Sie ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Auf jeden Fall sehr sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Ortschaft Ovronnaz ist toll, mit dem Thermalbad kann man sich so richtig schön erholen und abschalten in den Bergen.

Having wifi was the main reason we rented this property. We had a lot of sun from morning to evening but the kitchen door would need a heavier drape to make it easier to work on the computers. The kitchen is adequate but could use a little more counter space for prep. Ice cube trays should be provided. It might be a good idea to have single use or small size laundry aids available. The drive to the chalet was scary because of the narrow road way. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Since we go to same region every year for 25-30 days and rely on wifi, there is the possibility that we would stay there again.
Village agréable pour se reposer. Avons beaucoup apprécié le confort et la situation du chalet. Très bien équipé et vue magnifique. Station de ski, ballade en raquettes et surtout l espace aquatique avec bains chauffés à l extérieur... Séjour a recommander pour quelques jours en famille où tout le monde peut y trouver son activité. Trés bonnes prestations et ambiance amicale
Türen klemmen und quitschen, Polstergruppe ist schmutzig, keine Garderobe, alle nassen Jacken müssen in den Kasten gehängt werden. In den Bädern auch keine oder zu kleine Aufhängevorrichtungen für nasse Badetücher. Die Küche war super gut, die Wohnung sauber und gemütlich. Der Hotpot auf dem Balkon war wunderschön. Der Balkon gross und die Aussicht fantastisch.
Der Erste Eindruck war super, alles sehr schön. Jedoch hat man gemerkt, dass die Wohnung schon vor längerer Zeit gereinigt wurde, es hatte überall etwas Staub und in den Ecken Spinnfäden. Die Schlüssel bei den Kästen hilten nicht mehr. Der Jaguzzi wurde nicht wärmer als 28 Grad was sehr schade war. Matrazen waren etwas alt und in den Kinderzimmer waren die Better sehr schmal.
